What is hair bleaching?

Hair bleaching is the process by which hair is lightened to a greater or lesser extent due to oxidation of the melanin.

Hair bleaching is important because:

using a hair bleach allows us to lighten the hair more than 5 or 6 tones; it allows us to extract colour (up to two tones) in previously dyed hair and it is the basis for colouring with highlights, opening up great aesthetic possibilities in the hair.

What can hair bleaching be like?

It can be total, over the whole mane, providing a very sophisticated look, or it can be a partial hair bleaching, what we know as highlights, a technique that has revolutionised hair colouring.

When should we bleach our hair?

We should bleach our hair when we want to lighten more than 3 tones in natural hair or when we want to lighten the tone in dyed hair, even if it is only one tone.
