Last year we were really into the natural look and this year the trends are all pointing towards curly hair: the permanent wave is back!
It was the star of the 80s and there wasn’t a head around that hadn’t had a perm at one time or another. Meg Ryan was one of its followers but there were many more firm fans of the permanent wave back then. During the 90s the look started to wane in favor of pin-straight hair and permanent straightening became a thing, but now it looks like curly hair is back with a bang for our everyday street style.
