Movember, 5 Keys to Caring for Your Mustache

1. CLEANSING AND SHAVING

To get the perfect mustache we’ve got to let our beard grow then shape it into the desired style. When it comes to shaving there’s a particular order that should be followed. Firstly, we should get our skin ready, taking special care if it’s sensitive, as any movement against the grain could result in burning and redness. With the skin clean we can lather the face or apply a shaving gel. Then, we begin by removing hair from the sides, neck, under the lip and, lastly the mustache area. This order allows more time for the gel to work on the areas where hair is most dense, making the shaving of those areas easier.

2. AFTER SHAVE

After shaving, rinse the face and pat dry. Then apply a small amount of the Après Rasage gel using your hand to smooth over the shaved area with a gently toning massage. Rinsing is not required.

3. HYDRATION

Skin care before and after shaving is very important. But it’s not just at these times when we should take care of our beard. We should pay attention to it daily.
