ELIMINATION KIT

The elimination kit is made up of a lice lotion that acts on live lice and helps to detach nits and a shampoo with essential tea tree oil that prevents unwanted surprises in children’s hair.  The shampoo can be used daily or as frequently as desired. The kit also includes a nit comb to eliminate the eggs or nits. For action to be effective it’s necessary to apply the complete elimination kit (lotion + shampoo) and comb the hair daily. After 7 days evaluate the results and reapply only if the infestation has returned or persists.

The second kit is designed for prevention and control. It contains a protective shampoo and triple-action bi-phase spray with 100% natural tea tree oil. It doesn’t contain chemical pesticides and is ideal for prevention and protection from contagion as it can be used every day. The treatment includes a triple-action spray that controls (anti-humidity), detangles (soft hair) and protects (prevents surprises). This kit also includes a nit comb for detection of possible surprises. Both kits include a superhero cape so the little ones can join the band of superheroes in the fight against undesirable visitors.

kids-Care-proteccionWHAT ARE HEAD LICE?

Head lice are tiny insects which live in our hair. Anybody can have them but it’s most common in children between 3 and 10 years of age. They don’t jump or fly as they have no wings. Contagion is produced through direct contact with the hair of an infected person or, although less likely, through contaminated objects. They feed on human blood several times a day and the females lay their eggs, or nits, in the warmest areas (nape of the neck, behind the ears and bangs).

HOW DO I GET RID OF THEM?

The symptom that usually starts alarm bells ringing is itching, especially at the neck and behind the ears. To check for head lice first wet the hair, as water makes it harder for the lice to move around and place a white cloth over the shoulders. If there are lice, the nits will loosen and fall onto the cloth as the hair is combed with the special nit comb.
