When to use a hair reshaping product?

By hair reshaping we understand the process by which a hair goes from its natural position to a different one, i.e. it can undergo a change from curly to straight or from straight to curly. For each circumstance there is a series of specific products that will fulfil a function according to the objectives we want: straightening, perming or straightening.

Is using a hair styling product an irreversible process?

No and yes. Because depending on the objective we want to achieve, we will use a temporary hair styling product, such as a keratin straightening product that does not break the cystine bridges, or one that does, which would make it a permanent change. The same is true when it comes to perming, which is a permanent change to curly hair. We can also make temporary changes with hairstyling techniques such as blow-drying or straightening with irons.
