Beards on Netflix
Beards have won us over and barber’s shops too. There are more and more men deciding to let their (facial) hair down and visit a professional in search of some good advice. If you still haven’t taken the plunge where facial hair is concerned we bet you’ll change your mind after reading this article. If, on the other hand, you’ve already grown some hair there then why not take some inspiration from these bold and flattering styles ‘as seen on TV’ to change your look.
Basic and informal beards
We start off with a rather discreet beard as worn by Connor Walsh in the series How to get away with murder. A look that doesn’t take itself too seriously but requires some maintenance to look that good. To get it right you should use Perfect Shave System.
If Connor’s beard doesn’t do it for you, we’ve got another basic and laid-back look that’s causing furor and that’s Frank Delfino’s. Easier to keep tidy and care for thanks to Beard Oil.
In the same vein of nicely shaped beards but with a fairly informal finish, we have actor Jamie Dornan in The Fall, with his well-defined beard and mustache. Is it this that makes him the most attractive man in the world?
For those who prefer a denser beard then we recommend taking note of American Jesse Tyler in the TV show Modern Family. It’s the very definition of a tidy beard! Every hair is perfect and, can be be neatly styled with Beard and Hair Wax. But for a truly bushy beard Pablo Schreiber of American Gods, which is a little bolder and has more room for variety allowing you to shape to your taste. To get a beard like this will require allowing it some time to grow mind you.
If you’re already letting your beard grow but Schreiber’s bold beard isn’t to your taste, then we’ve got a more classic alternative for you. What about the star of the series You? A classic edge that’s manly and attractive. However, we should warn you that this style of beard requires time, and we don’t just mean to grow but also to take care of everyday.
In this same vein we find the beard of the Professor of Money Heist fame. Actor Álvaro Morte combines his wavy hair fabulously with his laid-back style beard. A messy look with carefully sculpted sideburns, mustache and goatee. The result? An attractive and authoritative professor.
4 care basics
Once you’re clear on the style you’re going for, you need to make sure you focus on getting grooming right to bring out its maximum potential. Here are the four key products you should have on hand:
. Beard Oil: it doesn’t matter how thick your beard is, it’s always important to care for and hydrate it to prevent irritation caused by dry skin. Beard oil is formulated with organic raspberry and rosehip oils which hydrate and help to regenerate the skin and hair as well as preventing yellow tones.
. Beard and Hair Wax: with soft hold and medium shine this product will help you style your look. It’s easy to apply thanks to its aqueous base and creamy texture. Take some risks with your look!
. Perfect Shave System: get a high precision shave thanks to this clear gel. Its formula with active ingredients reduces hair regrowth with continued use.
. Aftershave Gel: complete your facial grooming with this clear moisturizing gel for healthy, hydrated and fresh skin.
With this kit from the Homme range you’ll be better prepared than ever to get the best out of your beard.
