2019 will be THE YEAR of YOUR hair! If you’re tired of always looking the same, why not try a hairstyle or updo that’s totally different? Our aim is for you to feel beautiful and help you get the best out of your mane, this is why we want to share with you the easiest updos and hairstyles that can get you out of any tight spot as well as totally changing your whole look.
Go big on the natural look! The messy updo
“Less is more”. Sometimes we over complicate and don’t realise how effortlessly beautiful a low bun with some loose strands can look. It’s so easy to do and looks fabulous. To ensure that natural-looking finish, we recommend texturizing your hair with some Volume Mousse, from the Pro·Line range, before putting it up, to add extra body and improve elasticity and, then create some gentle waves to enhance that messy effect.
Hairnets are back!
Yes, you read it right. Hairnets are no longer just for ballerinas. Try a slick low bun covered with a transparent hairnet combined with a side part, a very stylish option which will never let you down. If you want an even more elegant option you can comb your hair back over your ears, for a more sophisticated and retro look. We suggest that to get the look as slick as possible you apply Pro·Lac hairspray from the Pro·Line styling range, enriched with cotton stem cells which protect both the hair and scalp from damage.
Hair accessories, a must for 2019!
This year again you’ll be seeing a lot of them, accessories for hair like clips, headbands or jeweled headbands. If you worry about looking over dressed, we suggest you try combining a clip with a messy low bun which you can adapt by twisting and knotting to get the look you’re after.
We refuse not to mention THE ACCESSORY par excellence, the bow. We’ve seen them on buns, ponytails and even braids. They guaranty style and elegance.
Another option that can look just as perfect is to combine a high bun with a messy air with a pretty jeweled hair tie. Beautiful!
If you’re wary of ‘complicated’ updos then the alternative is to leave your hair down and add a jeweled headband. With this one simple touch you’ll give your look a whole new feel!
Waves are always a good option. They give any look a young and fresh feel that’s so attractive! You can wear them with your hair down or as part of a half up half down do.
If you go for the first option, remember that to ensure a laid-back look it’s essential for the waves to take on different directions. So shape them in two directions following your arm’s natural movement, (either towards or away from your head). Here you have a tip to get waves just right: when you work on the left side, your arm should work from the top and the curls will go to the left and vice versa. When working on the right side, your arm with go from the bottom and the waves off to the right. Important! Before using a hair styler or wand remember to protect your hair with Straightening Spray, with hydrolyzed wheat proteins which create a protective film, this ensures longer-lasting results and spectacular shine.
When you’ve finished, give the look added glow with Grapeology serum, a nourishing oil which will add shine and movement to the ends without weighing your hair down (even the finest hair).
If you prefer you can combine your waves with a half up half down do, all you have to do is create some lateral braids on one side to give the look a whole different feel. If you go for this option, remember to hold the style in place with Nature Lac, from the Pro·Line styling range, for a strong finish and fabulous shine with zero buildup.
If you’re not a fan of ‘messy’ looks, then why not try Glass Hair, or to put it another way, an ultra-slick and smooth style. The look is worn with a center part and front strands tucked behind the ears. To get the look the trick is to apply mousse Liss Foam (which eliminates frizz and offers a smoother result), dry well with a hair dryer (not naturally dry) then work through with a flat iron. The finishing touch and key to the look is to use Pro·Line Strong Lac. Spray onto a brush before brushing through hair to nail the look!
