The best hairstyles to free yourself from the frizz

Do you have a daily battle with frizz? If it’s becoming harder and harder to dominate your mane, then we’ve got the solution for you: here are some of the best hairstyles for disguising frizz. Modern and simple-to-do ideas so no-one will notice your little problem. You’re not alone. Many of us understand what it is to fight the effects of frizz on a daily basis. Why me?, you ask. Consider that dry hair is most likely to suffer from frizz. When hair loses its elasticity and shine and  is lacking in nourishment it becomes frizzy as soon as it comes into contact with humidity. So, the key is in keeping your hair hydrated, this will make a big difference. While you try to deal with the root of the problem, we suggest you try out a number of hairstyles which can help you draw attention away from the frizz. This are all super-easy and simple and there’s something to suit all tastes and occasions to make sure you look amazing without having to spend hours in front of a mirror.

Braids

They are our saviour whenever we want to look cool and feel comfortable. There are many options to choose from which can almost completely disguise any frizz. Braids are ideal for creating that natural and slightly messy  finish which you love so much. We recommend knotted braids, this will allow you to intertwine any frizzy hairs. If you wish, you can also create a knotted crown braid, then once you’ve finished, give it an effortless finish by pinching it and leaving a few strands loose. If you wear bangs, you can leave them loose too. If the finish isn’t perfect or slick it doesn’t matter because that’s not really the look we’re going for. If you want to try something different, why not try a side braid? You can create a braid at the root or do like the previous style and create a slightly messy look by loosening a few strands around your face or just all over.

Ponytails

A classic that never goes out of fashion. Whether they’re low or high, slick or messy, they’ll give your look a fresh and young air, and most importantly they’ll disguise any frizz. At Salerm Cosmetics we recommend combining a messy ponytail with some high volume (you can use a bit of backcombing to get this and it doesn’t have to be perfect) on the crown. Before putting the rest of your hair up into a ponytail you can also loosen a few strands so that the look isn’t too symmetrical.

Buns

Messy buns are one of our passions. They have a super-cool feel to them and they’re ideal when we don’t want to wear updos that are too serious but they’re fashionable at the same time. Both high and low updos can have a really natural finish and they’re perfect for an afternoon out with girlfriends or to wear to the office. To get the look you just have to pull your hair back into a ponytail. Wrap it around itself to create the bun then hold it in place with hairpins and a little Pro·Line Nature Lac which will give you strong hold but with a soft and natural finish.

Gentle waves

You can create waves with a wand or some rollers put in the night before with your hair still damp. Of course, this means you will have to sleep with them in to make sure we wake up with a head full of beautifully natural curls and waves.

Hair accessories

A very effective solution. You can always divert attention away from the frizz or simply have better control of your hair by adding a jeweled headband or pin. Perfect for says bye-bye to those bad hair days!
